This Fall I spent time investigating how to find repertoire and materials on my own after being exposed to our professors' lectures, my own research, and panels of current teachers. I also had the chance to peer teach a Review of a Song and Teach a New Song.

Also this semester I was enrolled in a course called Early Childhood Practicum. This course was taught by a doctoral student and allowed me and another student the opportunity to go and teach 40 minute music lessons at the on campus preschool once a week! The kids were so enthusiastic and by the end of the semester they were making so many strides musically, but most importantly they really just brightened my day! Below is my case study on the whole class applying Gordon's stages of Preparatory Audiation and a Repertoire List my co-teacher and I created.
